Deep Freeze: A Byzantine Winter Festival 2025 50/50

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in Alberta.

    Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    1 for $5.00; 490 tickets
    10 for $10.00; 4500 tickets
    50 for $25.00; 13000 tickets
    200 for $50.00; 26000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $9,975.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Final ticket sales deadline: January 31, 2025 at 12:00:00 a.m. MST

    Draw
    50/50 draw: January 31, 2025 at 12:00:00 p.m. MST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at THE CARROT COMMUNITY ARTS COFFEEHOUSE, EDMONTON

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://artsontheave.rafflenexus.com/winners on January 31, 2025.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Arts on the Ave Edmonton Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: artsadmin@artsontheave.org. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Other

    Please email our team at artsadmin@artsontheave.org should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Welcome to Deep Freeze: A Byzantine Winter Festival, Edmonton’s first festival of the year!

On January 18 and 19, 2025, embrace the spirit of "Barnyard Blitz!" Dive into Alberta’s agricultural roots with a community celebration like no other.

Celebrate the diverse cultures of Alberta Avenue District—Ukrainian, French Canadian, Franco-African, Indigenous (Métis, Inuit, First Nations), Latin American, and Asian—through art, performances, and delicious treats. Explore Pipon Village for snowshoeing, bannock by the fire, and cultural storytelling. Enjoy Deep Freezer Races, axe-throwing, street hockey, and whimsical ice sculptures!

Arts on the Ave is a registered Canadian charity. We strive to keep our festivals running as free events because we hope everyone can participate in the joys and benefits of artistic expression.

However, creating a free arts festival is unheard of today. So, how do we do it? With an incredible arts community, excellent supporters, super volunteers, and generous friends. Thank you for supporting the festival through our 50/50 raffle! Your generosity is at the heart of it all!
